Doyle BVI is a full service loft selling and servicing sails and canvas.  The loft was founded in 1973 and our nine staff are highly trained with most having more than twenty years of experience.  We routinely service sails on boats to fifty meters and have been known to take a sewing machine to the boat to expedite a repair for a very large mainsail.  Pick up and delivery of sails by truck or chase boat is always available.

We have innovatively pioneered the use of fabrics from other industries that are vastly superior to the more usual marine fabrics - lasting two to three times longer in our harsh environment - with the products we build being assembled with a combination of welded seams and stitching of Gore-Tex Tenara thread, both of which are guaranteed for the life of the fabric.

Working with talented metal fabricators, engineers and designers we are able to create stunning fabric and welded frame structures.  Enhancing the cruising experience is as important as aesthetics and longevity, with many of our structures enabling sailors to explore the world in safety and comfort. 

With over thirty years experience building storm protection for world cruisers, we’ve applied that technology to structure protection. Using fabric that is High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) certified and wind pressure tested to 195 PSF (276 MPH), our Storm Shields are easily deployed with a minimum of effort and will protect your property while providing some light and airflow.
